Who I Am - Next Man Up
This is the Next Man Up docuseries called “Who I Am”, directed and produced by first-time filmmaker and Baltimorean, Jerry Royce.
After the vicious and senseless death of Freddie Gray, the Baltimore Riots, and the numerous violent deaths against African American males by our nation’s police officers, Jerry Royce decided to do a film series about Black Males.
Jerry says, I wanted to do a film series about males that have taken the cards they were dealt, good or bad, and made a positive impact on people and the world.
Social media has given us the power to sow into our own mediums and tell the world the real stories about our people and how we socialize in our communities.
African American males are very powerful human beings; poor, gifted and talented or rich, they can influence any culture, ethnic group or class of people.
This film is a silent interview with Reginald Gant, Andre Melton and Brandon Sampson. All three men are CEOs of their own businesses, college educated, community oriented, intelligent, spiritual, and humble.
This is their story.
